Juanita could tell when there was a wild storm approach
Rheumatoid arthritis made her a human barometer
As the wind and rain would vent and hurl
her tiny hands would begin to curl
And she would feel intense pain from her neck to toes.

It wasn’t possible to outdo the prompt verse…. it is at is…I tried to keep this in the same lighthearted style….
Thought I had better say that I am not being mean….I have RA and this does happen.
This is hard.. I have understood that this is the ordeal with arthritis…

Nicely expressed! Really love the third and fourth lines!

My knee is capable of this, as well. 😉

Oh what a great take on the prompt! The human barometer indeed….and it really is that way!

Oh, this feels so painful. Always people tell me weather prediction like this is a myth, but my husband had a nasty leg break when he was younger and every time before it rains heavily, his once broken leg hurts so bad he cannot stand.

I remember hearing of people who could sense the coming changes in weather like this.
